Who is Jordan?

I'm a mom: a working mom, a single mom, a black mom, an imperfect mom, a fun mom, an overprotective mom, a young mom, a dating mom, an anxious mom, and much more I’m sure. 

​

I like to think that we can be more than the boxes that society tries to place us in. We can simultaneously be both put together and a complete mess all at once because that's what motherhood is!

​

I’m all about embracing this journey of motherhood, and not just the Instagram post-worthy parts! All of it!

​

I'm also an elementary school educator, a realtor, a believer in Christ, and a pretty good cook.

Oh, Another Mommy Blog?

If you're anything like me, this is something that pops in your head every time you see another mom start a blog that's pretty much like all the others. 

​

If you're like me, then you also may sometimes find those very same blogs kind of unrealistic or difficult to relate to. I want to see more diversity within the mom blog community. 

​

I wanted to create a platform where I could share my experiences as a (young, single, working)  mom, offer advice (I'm no expert, but I do my fair share of research), inspire, and connect with other moms.
